THE JOURNEY, DAY BY DAY

Seven days, one by one

Day01

Arrival in Casablanca

Airport → Casablanca

Pick-up at Casablanca airport when your flight lands, with a sign bearing the agency's name, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest or take a first walk around the city, the country's economic capital, with its early 20th-century buildings and the seafront promenade along the Atlantic.

Overnight: hotel · Casablanca

Day02

Casablanca · Marrakech

Casablanca → Marrakech

After breakfast, a free morning to explore Casablanca at your own pace. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, built facing the ocean, with a prayer hall for 25,000 worshippers and one of the few mosques in the country open to non-Muslim visitors. Afterward, you take the highway to Marrakech. Arrival in the medina and check-in at your riad.

Day03

Marrakech, the Red City

Marrakech → full day → at your own pace

A free day to explore Marrakech on your own. Options include the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia minaret, the Saadian Tombs, with their central dome in Carrara marble, and the Bahia Palace. Jemaa el-Fna square changes through the day: in the morning there are stalls selling fruit, baskets and sweets, and as evening falls it fills with musicians, storytellers and snake charmers.

Day04

Marrakech · Essaouira

Marrakech → Essaouira

After breakfast, you drive west to the Atlantic coast. Arrival in Essaouira and check-in at your hotel or riad. Known as the Pearl of the Atlantic, the town keeps a walled medina facing the sea, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with whitewashed houses that recall the white villages of Andalusia. At lunchtime, try the day's fish and seafood, which arrives at the port's fish market every morning.

Overnight: hotel or riad · Essaouira, 3 nights

Day05

Essaouira at Your Own Pace

Essaouira → full day → at your own pace

A free day to explore Essaouira at your own pace. The medina has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2001 and is known as the city of wind and light: small squares, walls, fortifications and monuments inside a compact area that is easy to walk. At the fishing port you can watch the fishermen at work and eat seafood straight off the boats. The climate is mild all year.

Overnight: same accommodation · Essaouira

Day06

Essaouira, Beach and Coast

Essaouira → full day → at your own pace

Another free day, this time for the beach and the quiet villages nearby. The town beach runs for about 10 km (6 miles) of sand, and the local climate makes it pleasant most of the year. It is a day with no schedule, meant for resting before heading home, with the afternoon free to go back to the medina or watch the sunset from the ramparts.

Overnight: same accommodation · Essaouira

Day07

Essaouira · Casablanca airport

Essaouira → Casablanca airport

Breakfast and, depending on your flight time, a little free time for last-minute shopping. Transfer by road to Casablanca airport at the agreed time; the drive from Essaouira is long, so keep it in mind when choosing your flight. End of our services.
