Arrival in Marrakech

Airport → Marrakech

Airport pickup and transfer to your lodging. Depending on your arrival time, a first walk around Jemaa el Fna square.

Day02

Atlas · Ouarzazate · Dades

Marrakech → Tizi n'Tichka · Ouarzazate → Dades Valley

We cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass among Berber villages, pass through Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film capital, and follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Gorges.

Day03

Todra · Erfoud · Merzouga

Dades → Tinghir · Todra · Tinejdad · Erfoud → Merzouga

The Todra Gorges, the Tinejdad palm groves and a fossil workshop in Erfoud. At sunset, a camel ride on the Merzouga dunes.

Day04

New Year’s Eve at Erg Chebbi

Merzouga → Khamlia → Erg Chebbi

A 4×4 route through the oases, Khamlia and nomad camps. In the afternoon, an hour and a half by camel to the camp: Berber dinner and New Year under the stars.

Day05

Draa · Ouarzazate · Marrakech

Erg Chebbi → Agdz · Ouarzazate · Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech

The first sunrise of the year over the dunes and back by camel. Return to Marrakech through the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate.
