Day01

Arrival in Tangier

Airport → Tangier

Pick-up at Tangier airport or port when you arrive, with a sign bearing the agency's name. You'll get a first look at the city and its old medina, which overlooks the Strait of Gibraltar and was an international zone for much of the 20th century. Then transfer to your accommodation to rest.

Day02

Tangier · Rabat · Casablanca

Tangier → Rabat → Casablanca

After breakfast, you head south. About three hours to Rabat, the capital, where you'll visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower, then take a walk through the Kasbah of the Oudayas, with its blue and white lanes and ocean views. Another hour and a half brings you to Casablanca, where a walk along the coast ends the day.

Day03

Casablanca · Marrakech

Casablanca → Marrakech

A free morning to explore Casablanca at your own pace. After lunch, visit the Hassan II Mosque, built facing the Atlantic, with a prayer hall for 25,000 worshippers and one of the few mosques in the country open to non-Muslim visitors. Afterward, you take the highway to Marrakech and arrive in the medina.

Marrakech, the Red City

Marrakech → full day → local guide

After breakfast, your local guide picks you up at your accommodation for a tour of the Marrakech medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll see the Koutoubia Mosque, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Majorelle Garden. The afternoon is free to rest and, once the sun goes down, head to Jemaa el-Fna square, which is when the city really comes alive.

Day05

Marrakech · Essaouira

Marrakech → Essaouira

After breakfast, transfer to the Atlantic coast. Arrival in Essaouira and check-in at your hotel or riad. Known as the Pearl of the Atlantic, the town keeps a walled medina facing the sea, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with whitewashed houses that recall the white villages of Andalusia. At lunchtime, try the day's fish and seafood, which arrives at the port's fish market every morning.

Day06

Essaouira at Your Own Pace

Essaouira → full day → at your own pace

A free day to explore Essaouira at your own pace. The medina has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2001 and is known as the city of wind and light: small squares, walls, fortifications and monuments inside a compact area that is easy to walk. At the fishing port you can watch the fishermen at work, and the Skala ramparts look out over the ocean. The climate is mild all year.
